 I cannot tell you how much I LOVE these colors…someday,  I’ll have my house, and there will be a room with this color palette.

The Royal Wedding

I’d like to take this opportunity that only happens like once every thiry years to write about what everyone else is writing about…the oh-so-lovely royal wedding! Did you see any of it? I wasn’t one of those people who were totally obsessed with it until I saw Kate’s dress…simply lovely! She seems to be a classy lady…her dress was reminiscent of Grace Kelly’s dress when she married that prince from Monaco.

I mean, if you have  to wear sleeves, what a way to do it! Absolutely stunning…and did you see the guests? The British know how to wear a hat!

What I’d like to know is how Victoria Beckham manages to walk in those shoes while being 7 months pregnant…but, while everyone in the fashion world says she looks bland and predictable, I think she looks classy. I love her make up. So there.

I believe this is Queen Sofia of Spain, Prince Felipe of Asturias and Princess Letizia of Asturias…I’m in love with the princess’s pale pink dress. Simply mauvelous! Hahaha…  Now these ladies…the Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie…well, one looks a bit dissheveled and the other looks like an octopus landed on her head. ‘Nuff said.

Well, I just thought I’d share a few of my favorite wedding photos with you…:-) Nothing like a wedding full of royals, commoners, and funky hats.

Pearls…

I love pearls. I was wearing this bracelet today that I totally thought were fake…but then my rockin’ (you’d laugh at that if you know Kate…) friend Kate told me that she thinks they’re real freshwater pearls! I guess freshwater pearls aren’t as round as the saltwater expensive ones…even if they are fake, I think they’re pretty. Pearls are just so classy! And shiny…In Matthew 13, Jesus talks about how the kingdom of heaven is like “a merchant man seeking goodly pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, he sold all that he had, and bought it.” (Matthew 13:45-46). Some people might think they’re sort of grandma-ish…but I think they’re just heavenly…:-)
